Hello – I am Jean Young, owner of Freedom City Gardens (FCG), LLC. High-quality, fresh, sustainable, nutritious and certified all-natural local produce is our main concern. We grow the veggies and herbs that we love to eat! FCG is a modern urban micro farm located within 2.5 acres of land permanently protected by ALT conservation easements near downtown Athens. FCG connects families with produce cultivated and brought to you fresh from our fields. Our beds are exclusively no-till and to ensure food safety standards, we use a covered on-site wash/pack facility with a walk-in cooler. Additionally, all produce, seeds, amendments, and supplies used comply with USDA Certified Naturally Grown Produce Standards.
